Write and wrong: Chelsea officially object to any FA move to extend Eden Hazard ban
Chelsea have written to the FA to formally register their objection to any attempt at extending Eden Hazard’s ban for kicking a ball-boy, according to a report.
The Mirror revealed on Sunday that the Stamford Bridge club were gearing up to fight any FA move that might deny them the services of the Belgian dazzler for longer than the three-match ban already imposed.
And according to a BBC report, the Blues have now made it official with a written objection.
Hazard was sent off for kicking at possibly the world’s richest ball-boy in a League Cup game at Swansea – an incident that sparked much indignant comment, not all of it anti-Hazard by any means.
